We had an incredible stay at a charming castle in the heart of Bordeaux wine country. The beautiful 12th-century castle had only two rooms, giving us a unique and exclusive experience. The staff made us feel very welcome and even gave us a private tour of the wine making area. The highlight for us was enjoying a bottle of Grand Cru wine on the terrace while watching the swans. I highly recommend this unforgettable hotel experience.

The hotel is located in the beautiful wine country and has an amazing history. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. The main dining table looked grand and impressive. The ambiance of the hotel was magnificent, and it made us feel like we were royalty.

The hotel was isolated, and there were few restaurants nearby. The hotel lacked some amenities, such as TV reception, Wi-Fi, and room service.

The historic property is breathtaking, with a rich history that adds to the allure of the countryside location. the estate offers guests a personalised tour, including the wine production facilities, which is an interesting experience. the surrounding grape-filled vineyards are not only splendid but are also a key drawcard and highlight of the area. Sporting a moat, complete with beautiful black and white swans, adds to the uniqueness of the estate, making it feel all the more special.

The remote location of the establishment means that it can be challenging to explore alternative dining options. Although the staff are accommodating and helpful, the lack of nearby restaurants means that guests are restricted to eating in-house, which may not be ideal for longer stays.

Beautifully presented chateau, amazing surrounding area, friendly and helpful host, insightful wine selection, delicious dinner and breakfast.

    Nothing all excellent.

Located in the heart of wine country, this historic property offers a truly unique experience. the castle's grandeur and medieval decor transport guests to another time. the luxurious rooms feature beautiful furnishings and decorations that make one feel like a noble. the friendly staff provides quality services, from wine tours to breakfast. the wine production tour and tasting impressively merge tradition with modern technology, and the surrounding forest and vineyards offer tranquil views.

The hotel's secluded location means guests will need to factor in some driving to access nearby restaurants or shops.

I had an incredible stay at a medieval castle with a luxurious experience, stunning views of the vineyard and charming forest, and medieval decorations that gave the feel of being in a different time. The breakfast was authentic with a lovely view from the main dining table. The staff was very helpful, Gabriel the swan guarding the bridge was friendly as well, and Patrick provided efficient service in a quiet and professional manner.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.
